Well, that’s it for the Librarians and for my blog, at least for now. This season was pretty good overall, with Nicole long con and her redemption at the end. It was good to see Eve save the day, since that’s kinda her job as Guardian but she hadn’t had many opportunities to do it lately. I still love the show as a whole and Cassandra is still my favourite character, but I like how they all grew from a bunch of strangers who barely trusted (or even tolerated) each other into a real family. I’ve watched the first season of the revival show and it’s fine, but it doesn’t have quite the same vibe for me and
I miss the familiar characters (despite Jacob’s cameos), so I won’t be reviewing that series. As I mentioned before, my new job doesn’t leave me much time for blogging, so I’m putting things on indefinite hiatus for now. I’ll leave the blog up, but I won’t be contributing any new posts for the foreseeable future. Someday I might decide to do something more (something relatively easy and not too time-consuming) and put it up here, but for now this is it. Thanks to everyone who visited and I hope you enjoy combing through the 8+ years (!) of archives. Oh, I almost forgot … Gulliver says farewell too.

The Librarians and the Graves of Time – Director: Jonathan Frakes/Writers: Marco Schnabel, Larry Stuckey
This one starts with some Russians digging up a grave in Mexico. They find the coffin empty except for a piece of metal shaped kinda like an asterisk. The Librarians and the Bleeding Crown – Director: Marc Roskin/Writer: Tom MacRae
For everyone expecting a Spider-Man review today, I better explain myself. I’ve just gotten a new job that’s taking up more of my time than anticipated, so I’m going to have to put my blog on indefinite hiatus. But before I do that, I will finish off my reviews of The Librarians. They’ll be appearing three times a week instead of just once, so for all the Spider-Man fans out there, sorry but this is just the easiest solution (and it is fitting to end my Spidey reviews with the classic issue #50). Anyway, on to the next Librarians review. This one starts with a teenager named Pete waking up to find that he’s an old man. He runs to tell his parents, but they’ve prematurely aged too, as has everyone else in town. Continue reading “Librarians Reviews: Season 4, Episode 5”
Spider-Man Reviews: Amazing Spider-Man 49, Amazing Spider-Man 50
Amazing Spider-Man #49 (June 1967) – “From the Depths of Defeat” – Stan Lee/John Romita
This one starts where last issue left off, with Spider-Man lying in the snow half dead after getting the shit kicked out of him by the new Vulture. But the cold actually revives him instead of finishing him off and he staggers down to the street, still weakened by the flu.
