GIJoe 146 coverG.I. Joe #146 (March 1994) – “Immovable Objects” – Larry Hama/Phil Gosier/Chip Wallace, Stave Alexandrov

This one starts with a team of Joes (including Duke and Roadblock) in space aboard the Defiant shuttle. They’re approaching a Russian shuttle in orbit and things sound a bit tense, but the Cold War was over by this time, so I’m assuming they’re just on some kind of diplomatic mission. Librarians Reviews: Season 2, Episode 5

Librarians opening title 2-5The Librarians and the Hollow Men – Director: Noah Wyle/Writer: Geoffrey Thorne

This one starts with Eve, Ezekiel, and Jacob breaking into a museum to retrieve the Eye of Zarathustra, one of the artifacts that have mysteriously disappeared from the Library. This particular artifact is the first to re-appear in public, donated to the collection by an anonymous benefactor (according to the emails Ezekiel hacked). New Trekker Book

Gulliver reads Rebel HeartI just received the latest Trekker installment (Rebel Heart) and it’s great as usual. Plenty of action, intrigue, and mystery, plus a bit of romance to liven things up. Ron Randall continues to make this series a must-read and I’m already looking forward to the next volume. Gulliver enjoyed it too, although he’s still waiting for a more ape-centric story. Get on that, Ron!

Backers of the comic got plenty of swag as always: a couple of cool pins,Gulliver and Rebel Heart swag some stickers, prints, bookmarks, and cards. What more could you ask for? I’m hoping the next volume will be even more action-packed and knowing Ron Randall, it probably will.

This one starts with a victory party at Wexler University. The mascot (an otter) is very excited and heads over to Omega Theta House for a frat party, but a dimensional rift opens and a giant tentacle emerges and drags him through. So, a Lovecraft-themed episode, I guess. Continue reading “Librarians Reviews: Season 2, Episode 4”

This one continues from last issue with a troop of 100 Zingaran soldiers searching the Pictish Wilderness for someone … probably the same someone that Zacharus came looking for. The Zingarans run into Tetra in her new warrior’s guise. She seems to have learned fighting skills very quickly, as she takes down two scouts rather easily.
