This one starts with Eve and Flynn going to a retrospective for a director named James Desmond Wheeler. Eve is a big fan of his work and knows it all by heart, including the movie they’re currently watching, a noir thriller called The Found, the Lost, and the Looking. This one starts with a Spider-Man/Kraven fight that’s presented as a flashback even though it’s not from any of Kraven’s previous appearances. Yes, it’s a continuity insert, the first of many. This one starts with Spider-Man getting used to his sprained arm by stopping a truck hijacking, but he realizes it won’t be so easy to take the Lizard down. Speaking of the Lizard, he breaks into Connors’s office to get the Lizard Formula, but freaks out because he can’t read all the scientific gibberish in the notebooks. (Lizard isn’t aware that he actually is Curt Connors; he thinks Connors is a completely different being. He should hang out with the Hulk so they can talk about their “separate” alter egos.) This one starts with The Rhino escaping custody and going on a rampage in New York to attract Spider-Man’s attention, since his only motivation right now seems to be revenge. We look in at the Daily Bugle and learn that Ned and Betty are now engaged and at Anna Watson’s house, Peter is mesmerized by Mary Jane (as am I). Meanwhile, Peter Parker has a very bad cold and goes to see Dr. Bromwell, who warns him that Aunt May is still quite fragile (when isn’t she?) and can’t stand any sudden shocks. This one starts with a Professor Mendel Stromm being released from prison after ten years. Apparently, Stromm’s old partner set him up for a fall and he’s been craving revenge ever since. Frederick Foswell knew Stromm in prison and figures there might be a story in his release, but some thug almost kills Foswell for spying on Stromm. Librarians Opening 4-1The Librarians and the Dark Secret – Director: Marc Roskin/Writer: Marco Schnabel

This one starts in Rome, where some guys are tuning a huge church organ. They find a piece of parchment inside, but when a church official (Father Giallo) comes to claim it, he has his men kill the two guys who found it. The parchment turns out to be a map showing the location of some valuable stones.
