This one starts with Gabi heading for Amphipolis with Xena’s body. Gabi’s having a hard time accepting that Xena’s dead and keeps having nightmares about it. Some thugs show up, having heard about Xena’s death and knowing her corpse will fetch a good reward from Xena’s enemies. This one continues from last issue, with Catwoman pissed off that Batman won’t trust her with the details of his plan for Two-Face and how Circe fits into it. She not really jealous of Circe, just mad that Batman won’t give her 100% of himself. They argue for a while about who has the bigger trust issues, and Batman admits he loves before revealing that he wants to try and change Two-Face back to the good person he was before his face was scarred. This one starts with John Stewart, Kilowog, and Salakk heading to the Pacific island where Hector Hammond was based. Hammond is gone, but they run into Dr. Polaris and his henchmen Dropded, Throttle, and Truk (who looks like a Transformers reject). Dr. Polaris was looking to recruit Hammond and assumes the Lanterns got to him first, until John corrects him. The main story in this issue is about the Legionnaires’ feelings about Sensor Girl and her identity. It opens with a number of them talking about her before realizing her powers might let her listen in on their conversation. (And as we see, that’s exactly what she is doing.) Out near Montauk, Wildfire, Polar Boy, and Colossal Boy are heading to the Legion Academy to investigate the disappearance of a student named Mentalla. (When they’re first discussing it, Wildfire says Sensor Girl disappeared, but I’m assuming that’s a mistake.) Turns out Superman’s plight is being broadcast on every network and cable channel in the vicinity. As Superman’s friends gather at the Galaxy Building, they speculate on who could be behind this. Robin informs Commissioner Gordon and Harvey Bullock that Two-Face is back and he took the dope dealer down in the process of robbing him. Last issue, the Guardians of the Universe took off to parts unknown with the Zamarons to start a new cosmic race or something. Before leaving, they told Hal Jordan and John Stewart they should both base themselves on Earth because Earth is destined to produce the successor race to the Guardians … in a few thousand years. Naturally, Katma Tui decided to relocate to Earth (since she and John are in love) and Arisia wanted to come along (since she still has the hots for Hal). This one starts at an archaeological dig in Macedonia in 1940, where a digger discovers a tablet with ancient writing on it. A car arrives at the dig site and a woman (Mel Pappas, who looks a lot like Xena but with glasses and a 1940s wardrobe) gets out.
