This one continues directly from last episode, with supercharged ley lines in the sky disrupting the internet and the world’s power supplies. Flynn likens it to the Carrington Event of 1859, when solar flares disrupted telegraphy all over the world … except this is a magical Carrington Event, so it will wipe out all technology. This one starts with Flynn running from ninjas in Japan, summoned when he grabbed the sacred Oni Bell. Jenkins opens the Back Door for him and Flynn delivers the Bell, saying it’s the last of the artifacts they have to keep away from Prospero. This one starts at a top secret DARPA research lab where a team (one of whom is playing a first-person shooter video game when he’s supposed to be working) has put together a computer using an unknown material that lets the computer work faster than any before it … basically a shortcut to quantum computing. This one starts in London, where Jacob and Cassandra are hanging out after doing some research to find Prospero. Outside a club called Effigy, a jauntily-dressed dude crosses the street and gets hit by a car, but it doesn’t affect him at all. Instead, a girl who just came out of the club goes flying twenty feet through the air. Librarians Reviews: Season 2, Episode 6

This one starts in Hawthorne, New Hampshire where a mayoral race is underway between two candidates (Keating and Denning). A woman who works for Denning’s campaign (Brandy Vargas) crashes her car and runs off like someone is chasing her, although we don’t actually see anyone. Something’s definitely chasing her though, as a fiery hole opens up in her motel room and draws her inside, leaving a strange sigil burnt into the wall. This one starts with Eve, Ezekiel, and Jacob breaking into a museum to retrieve the Eye of Zarathustra, one of the artifacts that have mysteriously disappeared from the Library. This particular artifact is the first to re-appear in public, donated to the collection by an anonymous benefactor (according to the emails Ezekiel hacked). Librarians Reviews: Season 2, Episode 2

This one continues from last episode, with everyone gathering in the Annex after dissipating the storm. Flynn is still bothered that Eve didn’t let him go charging after Prospero, but she reminds him it’s better to stick with a plan. Flynn isn’t thrilled about having to share Eve with the other Librarians, since he’s gotten to enjoy their alone time. Elsewhere, Prospero manifests in a library through a copy of the Tempest.
