This one starts on Themiscyra, with Diana reading the official tally of votes about whether to open up Themiscyra to outsiders or not. The majority of Amazons voted yes, so that means outsiders will be coming to Paradise Island for the first time in centuries (including males), and some of the Amazons aren’t thrilled with that idea. This one starts at Legion headquarters, where everyone is still reeling from Brainiac 5’s sudden departure last issue to return to his home planet of Colu. Brainy left a strange bio-construct to act as a sort of avatar for COMPUTO, but since it looks like a baby Validus, it kinda freaks everybody out. Polar Boy asks Dream Girl to be the new head scientist for the Legion but she refuses, advising him to stop relying so much on other people and figure things out for himself. Last issue, Lobo accepted a contract from Manga Khan to kill the Justice League members who were following Khan to get Mr. Miracle back. Lobo attacked them but Big Barda zapped him across the galaxy … right to the JLI Embassy in New York. Lobo’s sudden appearance knocked Guy Gardner back into his old asshole self—yes. This one starts with Bruce Wayne opening a letter that was left at police headquarters addressed to Batman. It’s from Jose Garzonas (whose scumbag son died “accidentally” last issue in close proximity to Robin) and contains a photo of Commissioner Gordon tied up in a junkyard.
