This one opens with Captain Frye telling his fellow police officers that Flash escaped from his jail cell last night and needs to be apprehended, since he was found guilty of killing Professor Zoom. The cops aren’t happy about treating Flash like any old criminal, but they know their duty is to bring him in. Cecile Horton (Flash’s lawyer) goes to see Barry Allen’s parents and tells them she knows Barry is really Flash, but the Allens don’t know where their son disappeared to either. This one starts with the newly-reconciled Aquaman and Mera arriving at JLA headquarters and finding the place empty. Aquaman consults the computer and figures out where his teammates went and who they might be up against. In the Yukon, Vixen’s claustrophobia is getting to her, but she uses her powers to break free of the ropes binding her. Unfortunately, she and the other JLAers are still trapped in a hole under a huge rock. (Clark doesn’t know that Luthor projected the fake satellite adventure into Superman’s mind hoping either Clark or Lois would file the story and be discredited.) This one starts with Mirror Master breaking into the Gotham Museum to steal a jade necklace. He soon finds out he’s not the only one interested, as Captain Boomerang snatches the necklace right out of his hand with a trick boomerang. The two of them start arguing over who should get to ravage Gotham and Captain Boomerang reminds his fellow Rogue that Batman won’t like them being on his turf. (Boomerang and Batman fought back in issue 322 and Boomerang wouldn’t mind some revenge on the Caped Crusader.)
