This one starts at Arkansas State Prison where a bunch of inmates are getting swole in the yard. Some white stuff starts falling from the sky and they think it’s snow at first, but it soon becomes clear that it’s ash. Part of the outside wall glows orange and melts away; naturally, all the cons run toward the breach but they quickly change direction when molten lava pours through the hole and melts part of the cement in the yard. This one starts at a police station in Boone, Wisconsin where a wild-looking dude (Purcell) comes running in to confess to shooting someone in a robbery gone bad. The cops are all shocked, since Purcell’s lawyer had gotten his case dismissed on a technicality, but they’re not willing to look a gift horse in the mouth. This one starts with Artie at the boardinghouse trying to revive some dying flowers, but not having much luck. He gives Steve and Claudia an assignment in London; jockeys have been dying right after races, all the adrenaline gone from their bodies. They use a jade elephant that once belonged to Vyasa (author of the Vedas) to trap random balls of electricity that course through the Warehouse aisles. Pete gives an impassioned defense, but the Regents had already made their minds up; since Artie wasn’t really himself when he killed Leena (and his use of the astrolabe saved the world) he won’t be punished. Last episode, the evil side of Artie’s personality (created by his use of the astrolabe) used a rare Chinese Orchid to release a worldwide epidemic of sweating sickness, a disease that struck Europe in the Middle Ages and disappeared as quickly as it came. Claudia stabbed Artie to get rid of his evil side, but the sweating sickness plague spread rapidly over the entire planet, infecting everyone.
