This one starts with a woman riding across some grassy hillsides. I’m not sure if we’re supposed to think this is Xena, but it really doesn’t look like her and she’s not riding Argo. The woman hears that some of her men are being pounded over the hill, so she rides to the rescue. It’s Xena and Gabi doing the pounding and the woman (who’s a pretty formidable fighter) is about to kill Gabi when she stops fighting and starts mumbling to herself. This one starts with Gabi giving Xena a massage, but before they can achieve a happy ending, they’re accosted by some guys. Xena and Gabi pound them, but one of their attackers has an arrest warrant for Xena, accusing her of killing a woman named Thalassa years ago. Xena remembers Thalassa and admits she did kill her … not because she was a threat, but just because it suited her purposes at the time. Xena hands her chakram over to Gabi and surrenders. This one starts with Roman soldiers ransacking a Greek village for food. A villager named Phlanagus, who enlisted in the Roman army as a mercenary, tries to stop them, but the Romans are determined to get everything they can. Xena and Gabi show up to help, pounding the Romans and forcing them to retreat. Phlanagus introduces his wife (Nogolin) and son and thanks Xena for getting rid of the Romans, but Xena says she actually wants the Romans to fight here. This one starts with Gabi waking up with fungus growing on her feet and Xena with her hair full of lice (although she refuses to admit it). They’re looking for Argo (in the valley where Xena first found her), since Xena left her here before heading to see the Northern Amazons. They see Argo, but she takes off and Xena figures she’s mad about being left behind. They run into Joxer, who’s promised to defend a village from raiders and naturally needs their help.
