Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 13

Lost GirlEpisode 13: Dark Horse

This one starts only minutes after last episode ended, with Bo a tad pissed off at Rainer after being betrayed by his general, Rosette, and watching her jump  into a fire. Rainer says he didn’t know Rosette had turned against him and wonders how powerful Bo’s father really is. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 13”

Lost GirlEpisode 12: Origin

This one starts at Hale’s funeral. Dyson is giving a eulogy and Kenzi looks numb. (Although I have to say her dress is a bit weird … like she’s wearing a beaded curtain.) Dyson goes on about how great Hale was and how his family is sequestered in the tomb with his corpse, mourning him. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 12”

Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 11

Lost GirlEpisode 11: End of a Line

This one starts with Kenzi and Tamsin trying to decide which cheesy movie to watch, vampires or zombies (or the cheesiest of all, Jerry Maguire). Kenzi’s still pissed off that Bo is spending so much time with Rainer and keeps shutting her out. Bo overhears and assures Kenzi they are still BFFs. Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 10

Lost GirlEpisode 10: Waves

You’ll recall that Bo dropped a bombshell at the end of last episode, showing up at the Dal with Rainer and saying he was cool. This episode starts with Bo staring into a mirror as a voice-over of all her friends arguing plays over the scene. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 10”

Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 9

Lost GirlEpisode 9: Destiny’s Child

This one starts with the train where Bo was imprisoned at the beginning of the season. It seems to be falling apart and there’s someone in a welding mask trying to keep it together. A hole opens in the side of the train and we see the crown the Wanderer offered to Bo lying on the floor. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 9”

Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 8

Lost GirlEpisode 8: Groundhog Fae

This one starts with a “Cool Hand Luke” homage; Bo’s washing her car at a gas station (sexily, of course) and Lauren gets a little worked up. Dyson wanders by and is also mesmerized, but Hale comes out of the gas station eating some candy and snaps them out of it. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 8”

Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 7

Lost GirlEpisode 7: La Fae Époque

This one continues from last episode, with Dyson in the Una Mens’ custody, facing execution. Bo and Kenzi have grabbed one of the Una Mens monks and brought him to the police station so Hale can help get some answers. But Bo’s succubus power doesn’t work on the monk (because he’s a eunuch), so Hale uses his siren powers. Continue reading “Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 7”

Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 6

Lost GirlEpisode 6: Of All the Gin Joints

This one starts with an opera singer doing an aria for an audience of one … some guy in an old European-style military uniform. She finishes and he applauds vigorously, then has someone come out to escort her away. She pretends to faint and hums a note into the guy’s ear, which knocks him on his ass. Lost Girl Reviews: Season 4, Episode 5

Lost GirlEpisode 5: Let the Dark Times Roll

This one starts right were last episode left off, with the Una Mens Keeper telling Bo that her blood has proclaimed her to be Dark Fae. Bo protests, saying she never chose a side, but the Keeper says the Una Mens no longer care about her and she should talk to Vex, since he was in charge of the Dark Fae while Bo was gone. Lost GirlEpisode 4: Turn to Stone

This one starts with Bo and Dyson sparring in an old gym. Bo’s still worried about Lauren, but Dyson says it’s better that she can’t be found, with all the craziness that’s been going on. Bo is also sick of lying low and wants to get out and do something, but Dyson reminds her the Una Mens are trying to police the Fae and will probably kill her as soon as they catch her.
